The Basic Security Alarm System from Monitronics costs $99. With this, the customer is required to pay a monthly monitoring charge of $29.95 per month because this is a monitored alarm system. The other alarm systems marketed by Monitronics are the Security and Smoke System, the Security and Audio Verification System and the Total Life Safe System. Each of these alarm models has an Internet Only Special model, which is priced a little less than the main model.
